This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected and used through www.carpetcleaningpropretoria.co.za (the "website"). It is written with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA") in mind.

1. Who is responsible for your information

The website is owned and managed by Nolimit Marketing Solutions (Pty) Ltd ("Nolimit", "we", "us"), a company registered in South Africa. For information collected through the website, Nolimit is the responsible party under POPIA.

The website trades as "Carpet Cleaning Pro Pretoria". It puts people looking for carpet, rug, upholstery and mattress cleaning in touch with an independent cleaning contractor:

• Nolimit Marketing Solutions (Pty) Ltd owns and manages this website.
• When you send an enquiry, it is passed to an independent cleaning contractor.
• The contractor contacts you directly and is responsible for giving you a quotation.
• If you accept, the contractor performs the cleaning services, invoices you and collects payment.
• The agreement for the cleaning services is between you and the contractor. Nolimit Marketing Solutions (Pty) Ltd is not a party to that agreement and does not provide cleaning services.

Once your enquiry has been passed on, the contractor uses your information to deal with your request. For that purpose the contractor is a separate responsible party and is accountable for how it handles your information.

2. What information we collect

Information you give us

When you use the enquiry form, call or email us, we may collect:

• your name;
• your mobile or telephone number;
• your suburb;
• the service you need and any details you include in your message; and
• a record that you gave consent to your enquiry being shared with the contractor.

Please don't include sensitive information, such as health details or ID numbers, in your message. We don't need it to deal with a cleaning enquiry.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

3. Why we use your information

• To receive and record your enquiry.
• To pass your enquiry to the independent cleaning contractor so that they can contact you, quote and, if you choose, provide the service.
• To respond to questions or complaints about the website.
• To keep the website secure, prevent spam and misuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to send you marketing unless you have separately agreed to that.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process your information with your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the enquiry form, or by calling, emailing or messaging us. We also process it because doing so is needed to take the steps you have asked for (getting you a quote), and where we have a legitimate interest, such as keeping the website secure.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see section 10). Withdrawal does not affect anything done before you withdrew it. Once your details have already been passed to the contractor, you should also tell the contractor directly.

5. Who we share your information with

• The independent cleaning contractor who will respond to your enquiry.
• Service providers that help run the website (operators under POPIA), namely:
  • Cloudflare, for website hosting and security;
  • Web3Forms, which delivers form submissions by email; and
  • Google (Gmail), where enquiries are received.
  These providers process information on our behalf or under their own terms.
• Authorities, where we are required by law to do so.

6. Information sent outside South Africa

Some of the service providers above store or process information on servers outside South Africa. Where this happens, we rely on the protections allowed by section 72 of POPIA. These include the provider being subject to data-protection laws or binding agreements that give a similar level of protection, or your consent, which you give by submitting an enquiry.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry records only for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up questions, and in any event no longer than 24 months, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Information is then deleted or de-identified.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to the enquiry inbox. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however. If we become aware of a security compromise affecting your information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

9. Your rights

Under POPIA you may:

• ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy;
• ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, out of date or no longer needed;
• object to the processing of your information on reasonable grounds;
• withdraw your consent; and
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
